Are you looking to buy a Fumpa pump but wondering which one would work best for you?
This table will help you directly compare the pumps in the Fumpa range so you choose the right one for your type of riding.
Fumpa makes a range of pumps in sizes with capabilities to suit a range of wheel and tyre combinations, and lots of styles of riding.
Different tyres have very different ideal pressures: a slick track tyre on a smooth velodrome surface might need 200psi where a big, chunky off-road MTB tyre may be best at 20psi.
Most road and gravel tyres are optimised for pressures ranging between 20psi and 120psi.
A Fumpa pump's capabilities can be measured in three main ways: the number of inflations per recharge, speed of inflation and the air pressure/volume the pump is capable of delivering.
Choose the Fumpa pump best suited to the tyres you use and the riding you do.
Fumpa pumps work with both tubes and tubeless wheel set-ups, as well as tubulars if you're seriously old-school!
We do recommend using an extension nozzle with tubeless tyres to reduce the chance of sealant getting into the pump.
We also strongly recomment rotating your wheel so the valve stem is at the top (12 o'clock) and waiting a few minutes for the sealant to drain away from the valve before inflating.
Fumpa pumps work perfectly with most common bike tyre valves. The standard Fumpa nozzle supplied with our pumps is convertible to suit these three valves.
Presta high-pressure valves hold air very well but require you to 'open' the valves before inflating by unscrewing the cap mounted onto an internal pin. These valves are very common on higher-end bikes including road, track, MTB and gravel.
Convenient Schrader valves which are the type also used on car and motorbike tyres.
Clik valves are a new design which includes a positive and audible 'click' on connect and combines benefits of both Presta and Schrader type valves.
A range of accessory and extension nozzles are available to fit Fumpa pumps.
